This most recently completed strip details events leading up to my move from Melbourne to Queensland in 1994. I had been living with a friend, his brother and mother for the past seven months, due to my family making the move North at the start of the year. While I had decided to stay behind to finish the VCE senior high school certificate, I was feeling lonely and disconnected. I missed being at home.
I am still working on variations of dialogue and narration, but hopefully you get some sense of the mood through the images. I have since had a lot of feedback from my principal supervisor, Andi, for implementation in a possible second draft, but for now its onward to the next thing.
All pages completed with ink, inkwash, brush and dip pen on 3-ply A5 bristol board.
